Escapada a Pangbourne

El día amaneció en Pangbourne como una película de Hitchcock. La bruma cubría todo el campus asemejándolo a un plató de rodaje.

Poco duró el suspense, en cuanto hizo aparición el sol y unas temperaturas de órdago, nos trasladaron al caribe más profundo. Cuando ya alcanzaban casi los 30 grados, entraba Servidora en su taxi por el campus con los calores de la muerte y  los brazos abiertos para recibir a los Tesoros.

Teenagers o no Teenagers. No me dejé a ni uno.  Ni tampoco a nuestra maravillosa Irene, en campus con ellos acompañándole en su travesía del inglés y de tantas otras cosas.

Comimos todos juntos, intercambiamos impresiones y me chifló compartir por el plus que supone nuestro querido Lars en nuestro mini grupo. Estoy feliz de nuestra incorporación alemana. Un claro ejemplo de que no importa la nacionalidad para integrarse a un grupo sino un compromiso bidireccional porque eso suceda. Y nuestro Lars, lo ha puesto todo muy fácil. Pieza clave también la del resto de Tesoros, que utilizaron la lengua inglesa haciéndolo posible.

Mientras los Tesoros acudían a sus respectivos workshops, Irene me ponía al día para luego reunirme con la Directora del Campus y dar otro tour para recordar sus rincones.

En cuanto nos descuidamos, estaban con el tenis, el cooking y el fútbol. Un no parar.

La noche la cerraron con una actividad ambientada en Harry Potter. Participaron activamente y estoy segura, cerraron el día con gran satisfacción.

Satisfacción la mía de contar con éstos maravillosos Tesoros.  Cada cual mejor.

Gracias queridos padres por «ese préstamo temporal». Un regalo. Contando los días para compartir con ellos nuevos momentos.

Felices sueños desde el Sur de Inglaterra.

The day started at Pangbourne as a Hitchcock film. The mist covered all buildings in campus making everything look as being as a stage for filming.

The suspense did not last much as the sunset brought a clear day with Caribbean temperatures. When we were about reaching 30 degrees, it was that moment when I reached campus and did not take a minute to hug each of the Treasures. Teenagers or not Teenagers. Nobody would scape. Not even our wonderful Irene, who is looking after them so well in this Language voyage.

We all had lunch together, shared information and feedback. I loved this moment as I could experience what a great PLUS means to have Lars in our mini group. I am very happy of our «German Treasure». A clear example that no matters what nationality one belongs to, anyone can be integrated in a group. All it matters is a bidirectional commitment to make it happen. And our Lars, made it very easy. The key piece was also the rest of the Treasures, always talking in English, the language used by all of us.

Meanwhile our Treasures joined their corresponding workshops, Irene gave me an update and I also took advantadge and met the Center Manager as well as take a tour around campus to remember every corner visited last year. Great place indeed.

Soon later, the were all involved in tennis, cooking and football. This is a non stop.

The evening activity was based on Harry Potter. The participated actively and I am sure, they all closed the day filling fullfilled.

Fullfilment it is how I feel when I think how lucky I am to have these Treasures with me.  So good they are!
